Cool Websites
Random Street View does what it says on the tin.
Pinfruit tries to help you memorize long numbers based on a well-known mnemonic memorization system.
SkyscraperCity is an online community for people who think skyscrapers are cool. And highrises. And supertalls. Can’t forget the supertalls. Some really great threads are buried in the forum.
A friend passed me a link to IDEOne, which is an online compiler and IDE for a bunch of different programming languages.
Web Design Links
Wok is a Python-powered static site generator that knows and appreciates the value of a strong page hierarchy. Note that since this is a static site generator, you don’t necessarily have to run Python on the server.
I found Tom Rich’s blog helpful and interesting so far. Hope he keeps it up.
I loved the way illustration was integrated into the layout of this STET piece.
I’m still avoiding it myself, but if you ever need one of those fancy HTML signatures for your emails, look no further.
Other Links
I thought 3/365 was a great little documentary piece on family relations during the holiday season in Japan. I liked the song Zutto that was used in the film.
I was also impressed by the art of Mike Bayne.
